Extend Windows Server Trial Period (Windows Rearm) on Dedicated / VPS Server

Guide to Resetting the Windows Server Trial Period

If you rent a Windows Server from us, it comes pre-installed with an evaluation (trial) license. This trial license is valid for 180 days, allowing you to set up and use the system without a full license. After the trial period, a valid Windows license will beuired to continue using the server. In this case you can simply extend the current evaluation (trial) license license.

Once the trial period expires, the Windows Server will automatically shut down each hour if turned back on.

To do this, open the Windows Command Prompt as an Administrator (cmd):

Afterwars you have enter the following command:

slmgr.vbs /rearm

This command will reset the trial period, allowing you to extend the time of another 180 days. A server restart is required after running this command.

Your server will now be usable for another 180 days.

License Terms Please remember that using Windows without activating it within the intended period violates the licensing terms agreed upon with Microsoft, even if the system appears to function normally.
